The Management Team is made up of volunteers from the Australian Defence Organisation and all adhere to the following guidelines:

  • act in a professional and ethical manner,
  • protect the privacy of all persons seeking information,
  • facilitate the provision of details of an appropriate support or community organisation to persons seeking GLBIT information, guidance or advice,
  • provide details of upcoming local events of interest to DEFGLIS members,
  • endeavour to organise a quarterly DEFGLIS function to provide members with an opportunity to meet face-to-face, and to meet representatives from local community organisations,
  • maintain and update the Resources / Services pages of the DEFGLIS website,
  • engage local community organisations such as health care and counselling services that could provide support to DEFGLIS,
  • represent State members by advising the management team of improvements that could be made to DEFGLIS,
  • advise the management team of potential public relations opportunities that further the goals of DEFGLIS, and
  • publically represent and promote the interests of DEFGLIS while adhering to Defence values.

Even with these positions, we still need your help, so keep us up to date with any news, web sites or other information you believe would benefit DEFGLIS members.
