The
primary aims
of the Northern Territory
AIDS Council (NTAC) are to:
- prevent the transmission of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)
- prevent the transmission of Hepatitis C and other blood borne
viruses
- prevent the transmission of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI's)
and
- minimise the physical and social impact of HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis
C
NTAC is a community-based organisation with
a commitment to providing opportunities for the community
to participate in decision-making and the delivery of services.
