Defence LGBTI Ambassador Program - Call for expressions of interest

DEFGLIS calling for expressions of interest from all three services and the public service to help form part of the Defence-wide LGBTI ambassador network announced by Chief of Defence Force in Nov 2012. LGBTI personnel and diversity supporters are encouraged to express interest.

As an ambassador, you will be part of a network that would be a first point of contact for sexuality and gender questioning people in Defence.  You will play a key role in promoting LGBTI inclusion in the workplace.  While key aspects of the program are yet to be finalised, DEFGLIS would like to support Defence by ensuring that interested parties around Australia are identified ahead of time.

If you want to do more than be a contact, you can help further by volunteering to assist us with developing training for ambassadors, and to improve general awareness and considerations for LGBTI people.
