Last month, Air Force stopped and downed tools for the launch of the “New Horizon” initative, where new values were unveiled by the Chief of Air Force as part of the implementation of Defence’s Pathway to Change program
In releasing the values, Chief of Air Force Air Marshal Geoff Brown AO explained "we need to identify and display the right behaviours, and to do this we need a shared set of values which make it crystal clear what we’re about as Air Force people. For this reason, I’ve decided to launch the new Air Force values."
"Our cultural change over the coming years will be built on the values of Respect, Excellence, Agility, Dedication, Integrity and Teamwork," CAF said.
Pathways to Change is a five year program that was announced by Defence earlier this year which is intended to bring about sweeping improvements to personal behavior and culture following six separate reviews over the past two years.
