Member Focus: Hawker and Rainbow Skydivers Set New World Record

One lone DEFGLIS member Brychan Hawker and skydivers from all over the USA  set a world record this month ar the Rainbow Skydivers annual Rainbow Boogie 2012 in Chicago.

During the weekend, the group set a new largest Gay Formation Skydiving Record, being a 15 way, which is also known as the "Gay Way', and with a great Drop Zone like Skydive Chicago a lot of fun was had by all who attended.

The Rainbow Boogie weekend was a great success with many fun jumps made and many new friendships made. Not even hurricane Issac could stop the festivities, although it did put a weather hold on jumps for two days. People from all backgrounds and experience levels came together to learn and teach new skills. From those who did attend there was one member from the Australian Defence Force as well and one from the United States Army
