The Veterans Film Festival in partnership with RSL National, is excited to announce the Australian Premiere of TransMIiitary, (USA, 99mins). The documentary chronicles the lives of four individuals (Senior Airman Logan Ireland, Corporal Laila Villanueva, Captain Jennifer Peace & First Lieutenant El Cook) defending their country’s freedom while fighting for their own.

Bi Visibility Day, also known as International Celebrate Bisexuality Day, was created to highlight biphobia and help people to find the bisexual community. It is recognised and celebrated by more than forty countries across the world.
First observed in 1999 at the International Lesbian and Gay Association in Johannesberg South Africa, the concept for day attributed to three prominent American bisexual rights activists: Wendy Curry, Michael Page, and Gigi Raven Wilbur.
The Desert Memorial Parks’ LGBTI Veterans Memorial located in Cathedral City has been dedicated as the state’s official memorial for LGBTI veterans and is the first of its kind in the United States of America.

The New Zealand Defence Force's Sexual Ethics and Respectful Relationships training has won the Emerging Diversity and Inclusion category and the overall award at the 2018 Diversity Awards New Zealand.
The training was developed by the New Zealand Defence Force in 2017 as a preventative education initiative to help build a foundation for greater diversity and inclusion.
DEFGLIS and Air Force member David has won a gold and a bronze medal in his tennis events at the recent Gay Games held in Paris.
He took out the top award Men's A Grade Singles competition, and a bronze medal with his partner Connor in the Men's A Grade Double competition.
